I was really proud of this handbag. It is the most complicated bag that I've ever attempted (so far!) and it looks stunning and feels so comfy on the shoulder.I followed the video instructions below but added batting to the outside fabrics and put a few rows of horizontal quilting stitches across the front and back pieces. I also added an inside pocket with no zip.
There is a zipper pocket on the outside front and a 14 inch zipper across the top of the bag. I used light fusible interfacing on the lining. I also put a one and 3/4 inch strip of batting inside the straps.
I think I'll make the next one of these larger to fit a notebook or computer. I'll cut the fabric 16 inches wide and 16 1/2 long and use a 16 inch zipper. (This one only had a usable space of 9" wide and 12" deep because the zipper is set down an inch from the top of the bag)
