We exceeded our goal and delivered 98 beautiful cosmetic pouches filled with toiletries and notes of encouragement!
Our 2018 project was for Womanspace's Sexual Assault Awareness month in April. About 12 women from Trinity Episcopal Church Princeton made a total of 98 cosmetic pouches that were ready to be blessed on Palm Sunday (March 25, 2018).
Each year, Womanspace partners with a church to provide a small gift for each client who comes in for counseling during a designated week in April.
Parishioners were asked to write notes of encouragement to place in each pouch.
We also collected donations of toiletries to place inside each pouch. Donations needed are: lip balm, moisturizer, vaseline, dental floss and other "nice" (new and unused) items for hygiene or cosmetic purposes. (Please note: All toiletries must be travel size to fit in the pouches!)
