Magic Cathedral Window Instructions

These instructions might be hard to follow so watch the videos on this page for a better understanding.

Take a striped square and place one vertically facing up then place the solid square folded in half wrong sides together as you see in photo then place another striped square horizontally on top right side facing down.

This is what it looks like opened out after the seam is sewn.

Now flip the purple rectangle back to the right and on top of that, pin another striped square placing it horizontally.

This is what it should look like when opened out.

Now lift the top outer pieces and bring them together.

Open the triangular pocket. Do this carefully and pin it carefully.

Sew the seam.

After pressing the block, you might want to cut out a small circle at the back of the center diamond to get rid of some of the bulk.
