I've got my sewing room back and have been sewing alot in January. It is a really good way to keep my mind engaged with something other than the dismal decline of the U.S.
I made this for Mary Elizabeth Allen who I had made a similar one years ago. I saw her in church wearing the old one and it was positively threadbare! So I made her this and another zip bag in the same fabric. I based it on this tutorial:

Here's a new wallet that I made for Alex. It had been a long time since making any wallets so I was uncertain whether or not I could do it but I did it! I followed my instructions for My Awesome Wallet but re-wrote them into my NoteShelf App on my ipad which stores and edits everything really well - much better than creating pdf's for this website which allows only for a zip download.


I cut the fabric 6 inches high by 8 inches wide to make these small bags.
