As soon as I made this bag, I knew right away what I wanted to change. The flap needs to be longer. It looks a little dorky hanging over the front of the bag just a little bit.
Also, putting the zipper on the front of the bag, which is cork fabric, is way too hard! I like to have an outside pocket on my bags so for this style, I would instead put a simple cork lined with batik pocket on the back to slip phone into. This would also allow me to make the front flap longer.
This is the first time I used lobster clips which I love!!!
This is how the bag looks from behind when open. The flap stays nicely down against the back.
These were my notes that I wrote as I created this bag. When I remake this bag to look less dorky, I will write up detailed instructions.
