Magic Cathedral Window Block

I was so excited to learn how to make this block which I'm calling a Magic Cathedral Window because the beautiful diamond in the center looks so hard to make but it is easy if you know the trick! I've made an instructional photo sequence HERE but it is much better to learn this from a video. I used the video below.

Below are the squares you need to make the above Block. All of them measure 8 inches square. I made 4 of them by sewing strips together. The 5th square forms the diamond.

Here are 6 blocks pieced together.

There are only 3 seams in this block (not counting the strip piecing). Here's the video I used.

I used white fleece fabric to back this quilt. No middle layer, just the pieced top and the fleece back.
