I made this quilt using the left over fabrics from Oscar's and Daisy's quilts. I tried to get a stained glass effect with the rectangles that have dark blue around them. The center is a bit odd but I was using up the left over bargello strips. I didn't know who this quilt was going to be for until I went on a writing retreat in January 2015 at Holy Cross Monastery in NY state. When I had almost finished it, I realized that this quilt was for a woman named Susan who admired it while I was hand sewing the binding. The colors are very bright and cheerful.
