This is my first attempt at creating a bargello pattern that gives the impression of curves. I free motion quilted it in a meandering fashion. I taught Serena how to play the cello. She is very dear to me.
I did free motion machine quilting on the bargello pattern and just quilted straight lines about 4 inches apart on the blue end sections.

Back at Holy Cross Monastery in March 2015 for a yoga retreat, I finished hand sewing the binding. It's nice having a bright quilt to look at and work on to cheer up the drab decor in the monastery bedrooms.
