Men's Style Wallet - Handmade Wallet - Cork Ladies Wallet
This was my first wallet. I used Debbie Shore's video below to make it.
I made my first wallet using two batik fabrics. I used the light fabric for everything except the binding for which I used the dark green batik.
Debbie Shore's pattern came out too large for both the dollar bills and the credit cards so I made my own dimensions and set the credit card holders vertically rather than horizontally.
I also made two zip pockets, each one with a credit card holder.
Her video tutorial below is good except for the dimensions which produced a wallet that was 9" by 5". Pound notes are larger than dollars so maybe that's why it's such a huge wallet!
These are the fabric pieces you'll need:
Below is how to fold the piece of fabric that will become the credit card holder. Once you've folded it to form a pocket for credit cards, pin it and draw vertical lines at exactly the measurements along the bottom edge (1/2 , 2 1/4, 5, and 7 1/4 inches from the left edge)
