I made this quilt for 19 year old Oscar who had just finished his first term at Cambridge University in England. I knew that he liked the color orange and I knew that he could do with something to keep him warm through the cold, damp winters in Cambridge. I would have liked to make the quilt larger but didn't have enough of the fabric that surrounds the bargello. Also, proportionately, I think the amounts of fabric that I used look good.
