This tote bag is very large and would be good as a diaper bag or just for carrying bulky items. It was quite a lot of work even though I didn't use any zippers! I was a little scared when sewing on the bottom panel since I'd never done that before but it worked first time thanks to Debbie Shore's tip of starting about a centimeter away from the corner. I also used "Wonder Clips" which held the thick layers securely. I like the elasticated side pockets and the overall shape of the bag.
I made 5 pockets: (2 simple ones on the inside), a large one on the front and the two elasticated side pockets.
I used a chambray fabric (85% cotton, 15% rayon) for most of the outside and batik fabric for the lining, straps and trim. I used batting for the front, back, sides and straps and heavyweight fusible interfacing for the bottom.
I made two pockets for the inside.
Here's the video that I used to make the bag.
